As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the opportunity to visit wedding venues throughout the mid-atlantic region. Each is beautiful in its own way, but no one venue is perfect for every couple. If, though, gorgeous beachfront views, great food, plenty of venue options, and a nearby luxurious inn sounds like the perfect place for your wedding, Chesapeake Bay Beach Club might be the perfect place for you to get married.
When it comes to venue options, Chesapeake Bay Beach Club offers four great indoor event spaces. Each of these spaces also have access to private courtyards or beaches.
The Sunset Ballroom provides the largest space of the four venue options. It has enough space for up to 220 guests, and it includes a dance floor. When combined with the Garden Room, it can accommodate up to 310 guests. The Ballroom includes beautiful wood flooring, gorgeous chandeliers, and great views of the Chesapeake Bay. You also have access to a rooftop deck as well as the formal lawn.
Beach House Ballroom
The Beach House Ballroom is perfect for couples who want a bit of the indoor mixed with the outdoor. On its own, the Beach House Ballroom has enough room for up to 180 people for a reception with a great dance floor. When combined with the adjacent Tavern Ballroom, it can accommodate up to 225 guests. The outdoor space, including the gardens and terrace, are beautiful for an outdoor ceremony and portraits. From the garden, you have easy access to the beach, which allows us a private getaway to capture those romantic photos of just the two of you.
Tavern Ballroom and Inn Ballroom
Included with every wedding package is a private, fully-furnished bridal suite. Your guests may also want to spend the night in one of the inn’s 54 luxurious rooms. Everything in one location makes convenience and efficiency top priority so you can enjoy your wedding weekend.
Wonderful Photo Opportunities
As a wedding photographer, one of my top priorities is always the great photo opportunities a venue provides. Each of the ballrooms look so elegant, you really can’t go wrong when making your decision. Because this is a beachfront venue, no wedding album would be complete without a few photos on the beach. Because we face the bay, we can capture the sun setting over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on a clear evening.
Chesapeake Bay Beach Club is multi-year winner of WeddingWire’s “Couple’s Choice Award” and is also a “The Knot: Best of Weddings Hall of Famer.” You don’t need to take anyone else’s word for it, though. Stop by the venue to experience the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club’s beauty and appeal for yourself. They offer open house guided tours every Saturday morning. Whether you choose this venue, or another in the region, please contact us for help. As a Chesapeake Bay native and over a decade of experience photographing weddings, I am here to help you have the wedding of your dreams!
