Background: When I photographed my first wedding in 2004 as a second photographer with my sister-in-law, I knew I was in love! Prior to that, I immersed myself in the arts studying Art History and Fine Art in college. I worked at several local Arts Councils and galleries in Annapolis, then as a location scout for the Maryland Film Office from 2003-2007. In 2008 I apprenticed with veteran wedding photographers in Las Vegas and Los Angeles learning studio lighting and mastering posing techniques to bring out your best self. I began working full time as a wedding and portrait photographer in Annapolis under my own company in 2009 and am currently an active member of Professional Photographers of America. I absolutely love camping, backpacking, hiking and spending time of the Chesapeake Bay with my family...camera in hand.
Reason: Love is truly what makes life worth living. We become a part of your wedding day to soak up all the wonderful emotions and little moments and transfer them to my photographs. My goal is for you to trust us completely so we can be an organic part of one of the most important days in your life. The best photographs come from a genuine comfort and ease to be yourself. Part of our job is to bring out the true you and have fun doing it! And remember, "If you don't look good, we don't look good" - Vidal Sassoon
